A showcase of the skill and expertise of legendary whiskey maker Steve Thompson who created Whiskey Row Bourbon in Louisville, KY. Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey at Cast Strength is a culmination of how much he honed his skill over time. This offering lets you experience the whiskey in its purest form. Having spent extra time in the barrel, its aroma, flavor and color have been enhanced by the delicate barrel char that compliments the cask strength finish. Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey at its higher proof allows you to “proof down” by adding water to the proof you personally desire or simply, sip it “neat”.

Unique, Four Grain, Robust, and Rare

It is non-chill filtered and produced under the six strict Bottled in Bond rules set by Federal Government: 1.Same spirits, same class of materials. 2. Same distilling season, same distillery. 3. Stored a minimum of four years in wooden containers. 4. Reduced by Pure Water only to exactly 100 proof. 5. Must bear real and trade name of Distillery. 6. Must bear unique D.S.P. of Distillation and bottling.

Tasting Notes

Sweet and crisp flavors distilled from Ohio Valley corn mellowed with the essence of vanilla and caramel, maple syrup, naturally extracted from new charred oak barrels for an authentic expression.

Product Information

It is a blend of high corn bourbon whiskey and four grain bourbon whiskey from 1-2 distilleries, all of which have their own proprietary yeast and mash bills. All barrels are least 4 years old.

Bourbon used in each batch is distilled by Kentucky Artisan Distillery using the four grain mash bill; 67% corn, 12.5 rye, 12.5% wheat, 8% malted barley.

Process

Whiskey Row Bourbon is a blend of small batch barrels that mirrors may of those early recipes so that you may enjoy the same flavors as our ancestors. Non-chill filtered and aged for at least 4 years in new charred oak barrels.
